How it all began
Chris Akhimien, founder of All Nations Family Church by the call of God on his life. Starting All Nations Family Church was not a nudging or suggestion by the will of man. The call came by the will of God Almighty. ”It was on Saturday, June 9, 2012, I had a vision from God. The Lord led me by His Spirit to a door. A group of people were following me. I saw the late Archbishop Idahosa inside the room. I was the only one that saw him; those with me could not see him. I knocked at the door about three times, and he opened the door. Light shown in that room and those who were with me came in and sat down. I went forward and hugged him. Then he said to me, “I love you. What are you still waiting for? Go!” He said again, “Chris, Go! Go! Go! Do what you have been called to do.” I got up from that vision and began to pray, saying, “Lord what are you trying to tell me?” I went to church the next day, Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Victory Christian Fellowship in New Castle, Delaware. I sat at the back of the church praying and asking God to reveal to me the meaning of the vision. About halfway through the service, Pastor Faye Whetstone, one of the senior pastors, came straight to the back where I was sitting. She poured a bucket of water on me and said, “The same anointing that was on Archbishop Idahosa is on you. Let it flow through you and go fulfill God’s call.” I asked the Lord, “What does this mean?” The Lord said to me, “Go, teach, and preach the gospel of the kingdom of God.”
As Pastor Chris relates both confirmation and affirmation of God’s call, he acknowledges, “I cannot be disobedient to the heavenly vision that God has given me – to preach the gospel of the kingdom to all nations of the world, beginning with our local communities.”
“… I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry”
1Timothy 1:12 (KJV)
God said to me, “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. ”
John 15:16 (KJV)
And the LORD answered me, and said, “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
