The title of the message today is – God is able.
Text today is taken from -Romans 4:21 and 16:25.
Romans 4:21 Abraham, being fully convinced that what God had promised He was also able to perform. Verse 19 of Romans 4 tells us that – because of his conviction, he didn’t consider his own body that was already dead (since he was 100 years old) and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.
Romans 16:25 Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began. Jesus approached two blind men who were crying out for help. He asked them if they believed He was able to help him. Today Jesus is asking the same question of us. Do we believe He can help us?
There are no known unanswered prayers by Jesus. God is not dead and can intervene in our lives and situations today as He did in biblical times. Just like the blind beggars who responded to Jesus’s question with a yes Lord, and were healed, Jesus touched their eyes and said to them be unto you according to your faith and their eyes were opened. Jesus is waiting for our yes Lord to unleash His power in our lives open our blind eyes or from any ailment, we may have. Faith only considers what God has said and not the deadness of your situation.
Meditation scripture: My God is able.
