The title of my message today is – God rejoices over you with singing.
Zephaniah 3:15-17 – 15 – God rejoices over you.
Zephaniah 3:15-17 – 15 The Lord has taken away your judgments, He has cast out your enemy. The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; You shall see disaster no more. 16 In that day (today) it shall be said to Jerusalem (you): “Do not fear; Zion (the temple of God/God dwelling place), let not your hands be weak. 17 The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”
Isaiah 33:24 – 24 And the inhabitant (in Zion – temple of God) will not say, “I am sick”; The people who dwell in it will be forgiven their iniquity.
Genesis 1:31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good.
This means you were without blemish, no sin and its consequences, sickness, disease, sadness, worry. Everything God made including you were very good. Which means nothing was wrong with you. You were the treasure of God. You are His inheritance. You are His pleasure and delight. When man sinned, he fell, and the consequences of that is what we see today.
Jesus came to rescue, redeem, forgive, and restore you back to God’s original intent – to be a very good person that reflects His glory, His image and likeness.
The bible says God convicts and the devil accuses and condemns.
Which means conviction is from God – condemnation is from Satan.
Conviction brings you to your knees to repentance – condemnation pushes you to anguish and depression and suicidal thoughts.
Conviction motivates you to keep going towards your destiny – condemnation tells you it is time to quit.
Conviction tells you God will help you – condemnation says you have lost all your opportunities no more hope for you.
Conviction reveals the answer to you – condemnation magnifies your problems.
Conviction by the help of the Holy Spirit helps you change – condemnation tells you will never improve or change.
